Mapping 2023 – through landscapes and stories (weekend session)

As we reach the end of the year, this hands-on session invites you to look back over how you have created meaning in 2023.

In this 2-hour online workshop, we’ll be working with writing and image prompts to reflect and jot down some of our experiences during 2023.

When: Sunday 10 December, 11am - 1pm AEDT

We’ll weave the Map of Meaning into our reflection and use it as a framework to consolidate our 2023 review.

You don’t need to be familiar with the Map of Meaning. I’ll share an introduction to this powerful and practical tool. If you’re new to the Map, this session is a great way to find out about it.

You also don’t need to be a writer or have a regular journaling practice to get something out of this session. You only need to be curious about what the images we’ll share evoke in you and write this down. You can use stream-of-consciousness writing, make a list, use bullet points, write a mini story...

Pen and paper is all you need to bring to this reflective practice!

This workshop is offered in collaboration with Map of Meaning International and you can register via their website.

I appreciate anyone who makes an early commitment - the early commitment ticket is available until 19 November 2023.

What a powerful way to start the year with creative provocation of random images that stimulate the imagination to make connections that may otherwise be elusive or stay hidden.

It came at just the right time for me as I process what gifts and opportunities for growth this year has brought me and turn my attention to how I would like to build on this with a clear vision for 2022.
